Update WauWau Pepper Grinder

New update on the pepper grinder!

We are constantly working on the further development of our WauWau grinders! Now we can proudly present an update of the pepper grinder.

Update? In principle, you might think that a grinder - if it works properly once - can no longer be improved. So the WauWau pepper grinder, as we have produced it so far, was actually already super. High-quality stainless steel, no plastic parts, fine adjustment at the bottom, i.e. it can not adjust, axis centering, so that the cone does not grind on the wall of the ring and thus become blunt, etc..

New milling

However, in the course of our work on the coffee grinder (spoiler alert! We are working on a coffee grinder with WauWau grinder), a few improvements have also been incorporated into the pepper grinder. For example, we have fundamentally revised the grinding cone. For example, it is now higher than its predecessor. The milling has been given a different angle. The overall effect is that the peppercorn can be drawn in more efficiently, transported further more effectively, first crushed, then ground, and finally ejected by a rotary motion. The new grinding cone means that significantly more pepper comes out of the mill!

Even larger grains perfectly ground

The height of the grinding cone allows the peppercorn to be grasped better. This means that the new cone shape also allows larger peppercorns, such as the Super Malabar variety, to be ground perfectly.
In order to then also be able to grind the peppercorn optimally - at first it is only broken - a special tool was made. The grinding cone is perforated so that the broken pepper is ground as homogeneously as possible.
Thus it is guaranteed that with a fine adjustment of the grinder also no coarse pepper parts are there.

It is often only small details that are changed, but the overall effect is noticeable. What does noticeable mean? Significantly better!

Have fun with the WauWau mills! Greetings from the workshop,
wishes the WauWau Team.
