Organic pepper Super Malabar

This hand-picked "Super Malabar" organic pepper is one of the aromatic highlights as far as pepper enjoyment is concerned.

The pepper berries remain hanging on the bush as long as possible, so that they already take on the classic red coloration, which are just characteristic of an advanced degree of maturity. The fruits are then harvested and gently air-dried. Particularly striking is also the relatively large grain size.

Freshly ground with the mill (best with a WauWau mill), the "Super Malabar" pepper can perfectly develop its aroma on the palate. It is not as hot as the Tellychery pepper, but a little milder, but from the aroma very fruity and broad in flavor.

Our "Super Malabar" pepper is certified organic and fair trade (according to the wholesaler) and comes from a PDS smallholder collective in India.
