Potato mush with Gsäuerte!
A simple Austrian dish, but delicious!
Potato mush is easy to implement, you do not need many ingredients: raw potato cut into flakes, flour, eggs, salt, pepper and a little fat. With it you eat traditionally soured beans, marinated with onion, vinegar, oil and salt&pepper.
My recipe is from my favorite cookbook "Grabnerhof" from 1950, a typical postwar cookbook, few meat, lots of vegetable recipes.
The list of ingredients for 4 people:
1kg potatoes
30 dag flour
3 eggs
20 dag fat
salt pepper
1 can white beans
1 small onion
vinegar, oil
salt, pepper
