Cabbage frittersThomas crossThomas cross12:04July 31st, 2018 Cabbage fritters Cabbage fritters Ingredients 200 g spot 600 g white cabbage 4 tablespoons oil 3 tablespoons sugar 150 g onion 1 pc. Lemon peel (thumbnail size) ½ tsp caraway Preparation Boil Fleckerl in salted water until soft, drain water, set aside. Cut the onion into small cubes. Quarter cabbage, remove stalk, cut cabbage into squares about 1 cm. Heat oil in large pot, caramelize sugar in it, add onion and fry. Finely chop the cumin together with the lemon peel Add cabbage and caraway seeds to the onion, pour a little water if necessary, salt and stew until soft. Finally, mix the Fleckerl under the cabbage, before serving briefly allow to infuse. Note This dish can take a good dose of freshly ground pepper!
