WauWau werewolves

WauWau Werewolf Mill

Are there really werewolves?

Initiator of this WauWau pepper mill was a customer who had admired the pepper mill from the Masterpieces collection "Death and the Girl" during a store visit. The conversation then pivoted to the topic of "creepy stuff" and that's when she remarked that her favorite motif was actually the werewolf. She sometimes felt like a werewolf herself....

So the idea was born to have a werewolf pepper mill painted, by the master of miniature painting Stoyan Dobrev, who studied here in Vienna at the Academy of Fine Arts.

Now, of course, it is interesting what werewolves actually are and whether there is a possibility to meet one or one somewhere?
People have been talking about werewolves since ancient times. It is also interesting to note that people who transform into a wolf-like creature from time to time are said to have made a pact with the devil in order to have certain mysterious powers at their disposal. They were then given a belt made of wolf fur to wear. At full moon (or at least at night) these people turn into bloodthirsty beasts. Thus the history in addition. More realistic is the thesis that people who were bitten by a rabid animal showed similar symptoms, like crawling on all fours, howling and howling, and biting aggressively. However, the fact that one is also transformed into such a creature by a bite from a werewolf is a theory invented late to this by filmmaker Curt Siodmak in 1941 in the film The Wolf Man.

Creepy all the way.
