We produce regionally!

A WauWau pepper mill is composed of many individual parts.

On the one hand, we produce the parts of our pepper mills in our own workshop, but we receive various parts from suppliers who are specialized. For example, the driver discs, which sit on the underside of the mill head, are laser-cut by a Salzburg company. Of course, we could also have this part manufactured in China in larger quantities - but we prefer to work with regional companies. They deliver a higher quality of the parts, the ecological footprint is smaller due to the shorter transport route and the regional economy is supported. These are criteria that are close to our hearts.
Of course, the overall price is then higher - also in manufacturing - but quality, sustainability and localism are more important to us.
