WauWau recipe: sausages in a protective suit.

Easy to make and delicious to eat!

It is now Vienna in April 2020 and we are in the middle of the Corona crisis: stay at home, cook and watch movies.
Sausages wrapped in dough is a wonderful recipe for the couch, of course, not only watching TV, but also playing games or reading a book together. This dish reminds me a little of the famous hot dogs, but here the sausages are completely wrapped in the dough and pushed into the tube with it. A little cooled you can then also comfortably take them in hand, the dough is warm, the sausages are still hot.

Of course, you can also implement this recipe with a ready-made dough from the supermarket, however, the homemade bread dough simply tastes better! I have kneaded it by hand, with a food processor works faster and better, the dough is more homogeneous in consistency. But we are a craft business and there is kneading itself a point of honor.

As for the tube temperature, my sausages turned a bit dark, but that's also a matter of taste. Every tube is different, in the video I baked the sausages at 180° for about 20 minutes, a few minutes less would have been fine.

Just for fun, according to the circumstances, I renamed the recipe "Sausages in a protective casing". What the heck....?

For seasoning we recommend coarsely ground Tellichery organic pepper from the mill,
who wants it spicier takes chili from the mill.

With homemade dough and of course pepper on it!
