WauWau Pepper Mills at "Cooking in Hermanngasse

WauWau supported the cooking teams at the cooking competition on July 2, 2016 in Hermanngasse with a Jumsy pepper mill. Because: freshly ground pepper is essential for a successful dish!

10 cooking teams competed, cooking small dishes with vegetables provided and utensils brought along. The audience could test and evaluate the delicacies with a tasting pass. At the end of the day, the winners were determined by points.

The mood was collegial, but still tense - cooking for four hours straight was quite exhausting. The dishes could be seen and tasted! The variety was very wide, from stuffed pabrika (Team Sehprojekt) to vegetable curry (Team IG Fahrrad) and Indonesian cuisine (Team Bandung) to the Syrian appetizer plate (Team Franke Leuchten), there was something for every taste. And in the end, only seasonal, regional vegetables were used for cooking.

As expected, the mills were very well received and immediately found their place among the kitchen utensils. The Kaiserstraße Audiamo team made ravioli on the spot with a foamed aioli sauce, topped with fresh pepper from the WauWau mill. That's how we imagine it!
