Vienna city hall man

The architect of Vienna City Hall, Friedrich von Schmidt, used the City Hall man who adorns this Vienna Shit cloth bag as a feint. At the request of the emperor, the tallest of the five city hall towers was not allowed to be higher than the tower of the Votivkirche. So it was not to exceed 99 meters. Von Schmidt designed the town hall tower for a height of 98 meters and put this Rauthausmann on top and it measures 3.4 meters! Aaah, aaah, aaah. No idea whether this fact was communicated to the emperor. In any case, the Rathausmann still stands at the top of the Rathaus tower and looks down on the Viennese citizens and officials.

Since this bronze sculpture is not easy to see from below, a double was placed in front of the town hall in the town hall park. He may not have much to do and looks a little like he is thinking: Lunch today? Käsekrainer or Debreziner? And there he probably stands for a multitude of Viennese civil servants shortly before their lunch break, who are in the same quandary as the man with the lance.

Fabric bags are practical and can be reused often. We print this bag by hand in our own screen printing workshop. As a souvenir from Vienna, the ViennaShit bag will give pleasure for a long time.
