Fresh chili - what now?

Self-harvested chili is the best! And always organic!

Freshly harvested chili tastes fruity and fresh, especially now in autumn at harvest time. The organic farmer I trust has provided me with the most diverse varieties: Habanero Orange, Trinidad Skorpio, Vietnam chili, Madeira chili, chocolate habaneros and even from the hottest: Bhud Jolokia.

Of course, the chili keeps in the refrigerator for some time, some people have also advised me to freeze it. But my method of preservation is the professional drying or drying of the fresh chili peppers.

Well dried, the chili is then perfect for the WauWau chili grinder and has several advantages: you can enjoy a wide variety of flavors and heat levels all year round. Then you save yourself the chopping of the chili pepper before eating, so you can also avoid the "contaminated" fingers, which even hours later still give off spiciness - you notice this especially as a contact lens wearer.

With the chili grinder, the chili can also be portioned well at the table, everyone sharpens according to their preferences.

The WauWau chili mill, which by the way is already filled with organic chili (Bird Eye), is of course available in the WauWau Shop, and those who come to the store can also purchase dried chili of various varieties.
