"The Grim Reaper"
A pepper mill from the WauWau Masterpieces Edition.
Decades ago, I once read a short story by a science fiction writer, I think it was J.G.Ballard? This story was about a man who went wandering, got lost, but could not meet anyone far and wide to ask him for directions. He came to a house that seemed to be inhabited, but there was no one there either. He settled in there, waited, but no one ever showed up. It occurred to this man as time passed that it was about time to mow the cornfields, as the grain was already ripe. He noticed a scythe in the corner and set to work. Everything was a little spooky, and it came as it had to: the man realized that he was mowing by proxy of death, the Grim Reaper, each ear of corn a human life....
Artist Stoyan Dobrev paints exclusively for WauWau pepper mills. The unique mills of the Masterpiece Edition are unique in the world and probably represent more than an everyday pepper mill.

Filled this pepper mill is a black organic pepper from India of the variety "Tellichery".
