Ben - reduction to the essentials

Reduced in form, but handy in use, the Ben Zirbe natur is a mill for the modern household.

The difficult thing in form finding is the bridge you have to build, between functionality and form. This mill combines both. In terms of form, it was an attempt to reduce as much as possible - in the end, what remains is a simple cylinder. Only the chamfers on the edges would deviate solely from the pure cylinder shape. In terms of size, this mill is well suited both at the table, as it does not dominate, in the kitchen it is also very handy in the hand.
The filling volume also accommodates use in the kitchen, a stately (for the size) 35 grams of pepper fit inside the body of the mill. It is quick and easy to fill, the head is attached and can be pulled off vertically.

Of course, this mill also uses a WauWau stainless steel grinder, which is designed for durability. We do not use plastic parts for the grinding components, because these become brittle over time and break under pressure.

This mill was turned from a piece of pine wood, the beautiful, elegant grain of the pine makes the Ben a jewel for everyday use. The surface was finely sanded, then embedded with a high-quality hard wax oil, so it is well protected and can also be easily cleaned with clear water. Over time, the natural wood gets a beautiful patina and becomes even more charming.

You can combine the Ben with the same model, equipped with a salt grinder. We recommend, for example, Ben beech natural, or even a colored Ben.
