Invitation to the presentation of the new WauWau series:" Monica's Choice"!
On December 11, 2014 we present in WauWau Shop a new series of pepper mills "Monica's Choice", created in collaboration with the artist Monica Gross Meinhart.
The natural wood mills were covered by the designer Monica Gross Meinhart in a special process with vintage fabrics and thus get a special visual and tactile character. In the fabrics (made from clothes) of the 60s and 70s, the colors brown-black-white dominate in this autumn-winter edition, the patterns give the simply designed mill bodies a playful touch, which not only enrich the table, but also make the mills look like interior objects. Monica Gross Meinhart has created a series of wall objects in parallel - precisely also from the same vintage garments, which in the spirit of her "Portraits" concept are disassembled into their parts and sewn back together according to new aesthetic criteria: these pieces are given another function and their story is told anew.
