Eine WauWau Pfeffermühle mit erotischen Motiven

Diese besondere Pfeffermühle aus dem Hause WauWau wurde mit erotischen Motiven handbemalt.
Wir geben ja zu, wahrscheinlich geht es in einem Bordell der Gegenwart ganz anders zu als abgebildet, aber unser Künstler Stoyan Dobrev hat sich inspirieren lassen (wir haben ihn nicht gefragt wo…).

Wir finden, die Szenerie ist ihm ganz gut gelungen!
Die Mühle ist in den Farben Schwarz-Weiss gehalten, nur die Kugel oben setzt einen Farbakzent.
Am Mühlenkopf sieht man die Darstellung von zwei Nymphen. Im unteren Bereich sind mehrere Personen zugegen, eigentlich drei: ein Mann in ländlicher Tracht und zwei eher spärlich bekleiderter Damen. Die Atmosphäre wirkt entspannt, Mann und Frauen motiviert. Auch Alkohol ist im Spiel.

Der Zeichenstil vom Künstler Stoyan Dobrev ist grafisch gehalten, mit leichten Schattierungen. Im Stil kann man durchaus Modernität sehen, reduziert, aber mit einem ironischem Blickwinkel.
Die Farbgebung passt sowohl in einen modernen reduzierten Haushalt, aber auch in eine Umgebung mit viel Naturholzmöbel (Um nicht zu sagen mit viel Holz vor der Hütte.).

Der Korpus ist ein Buchenholz Drehkörper aus der Serie Peppers Delight, weiß lackiert und danach als Einzelstück von Stoyan Dobrev per Hand bemalt, dann mit einem farblosen Schutzlack überarbeitet.

A WauWau Pepper Mill with Erotic Motifs

This special pepper mill from WauWau has been hand-painted with erotic motifs.
We admit, things probably look quite different in a modern-day brothel than depicted here, but our artist Stoyan Dobrev was inspired (we didn’t ask him where…).

We think he did a pretty good job with the scene!
The mill is kept in black and white, only the ball at the top adds a splash of color.
On the mill’s head, you can see a depiction of two nymphs. In the lower section, several people are present, actually three: a man in traditional rural clothing and two rather scantily clad women. The atmosphere seems relaxed, the man and women appear motivated. Alcohol is also involved.

The artist Stoyan Dobrev’s drawing style is graphic, with subtle shading. The style is quite modern, minimalist, but with an ironic perspective.
The color scheme fits well in a modern, minimalist home, but also in an environment with lots of natural wood furniture (not to mention plenty of wood in the house).

The body is a turned beech wood piece from the Peppers Delight series, painted white and then hand-painted as a unique piece by Stoyan Dobrev, and finally finished with a clear protective varnish.
