Der Griff ist aus Walnussholz gedreht, der breite Knauf oben sorgt für eine gute Auflage des Handballen beim Tampern. Die Basis ist aus Messing gedreht, sie hat an der Oberseite eine leichte Mulde, damit Zeigefinger und Daumen eine optimale Auflage haben. Der Durchmesser der Basis misst 58mm, ein Standardmaß z.B. für Siebträgermaschinen der E61 Brühgruppe, kann aber auf das gewünschte Maß (ohne Aufpreis) abgedreht werden.

These WauWau tampers were developed in collaboration with a top barista and therefore fit perfectly in the hand. The handle is turned from maple wood, and the wide knob at the top provides a comfortable rest for the palm of your hand while tamping. The base is made of brass and has a slight indentation on the top to provide optimal support for your index finger and thumb. The base diameter measures 58mm, a standard size for espresso machines with the E61 brewing group, for example, but can be turned to your desired size (at no extra charge).
