Jack, der Bruder von Joey und Bob

Jack ist das dritte Brett in der WauWau Schneidbrett Kollektion, das in unserer Werkstatt gefertigt wird. Wie die zwei anderen ist auch diese Serie aus einem Stück Holz gefertigt, nicht verleimt, sondern fugenlos. Das zeigt sich nicht nur in der schönen Optik, weil die Holzzeichnung durchgängig ist, sondern auch im Gebrauch: es können sich die Leimfugen nicht öffnen (weil es keine gibt!).
Die Bretter haben auch eine angenehme Materialstärke, somit sind sie zwar robust, jedoch auch gut zum Servieren und Präsentieren geeignet, da sie nicht schwer sind.
Die Oberfläche ist geschliffen und geölt, somit pflegeleicht und alltagstauglich.
Wir haben dieses Modell veredelt durch eine massive Messingbuchse im Loch mit dem man das Brett an den Haken hängen kann.

Jack, the brother of Joey and Bob

Jack is the third cutting board in the WauWau cutting board collection, handcrafted in our workshop. Like the other two, this series is also made from a single piece of wood, not glued, but seamless. This is evident not only in its beautiful appearance, as the wood grain is continuous, but also in its use: the glue joints cannot open (because there aren’t any!).
The boards also have a comfortable thickness, making them robust yet also well-suited for serving and presenting food, as they are not heavy.
The surface is sanded and oiled, making it easy to care for and suitable for everyday use.
We have enhanced this model with a solid brass bushing in the hole, allowing you to hang the board on a hook.
