This white organic pepper "Sofa" comes from a smallholder project in Sri Lanka that operates under controlled organic farming methods.

White pepper has undergone a process of fermentation, the shell of the classic pepper has been released and the taste has changed. The pepper is very aromatic, somewhat lemony, the spiciness develops gradually on the palate. Goes well with meat dishes, stews but also vegetables.
