The WAUWAU Pepper Mill "Stella

is ergonomically very good in the hand due to its curves and is also easy to operate. It is designed and manufactured at the request of a bistrot operator in Vienna, who wanted to equip each of his small tables with a WAUWAU pepper mill. Therefore, we decided to design a slightly smaller shape: the Stella measures approx.16cm.

The body is turned beech wood, the surface is sealed with hard wax oil and feels smooth. The closure is a black bakelite ball or colored aluminum ball, which you screw on to fill the mill.

The fine adjustment of the grind is set on this mill (as well as all other WAUWAU pepper mills) at the bottom of the mill by means of an adjustment screw.
The grinder is made of stainless steel in our own workshop, it is not only very high quality in its design, but also the grinding efficiency shows especially when cooking: a lot of pepper comes out - and only with a small rotation.
