Repair work on the pusher plane

Old but good: the old pusher plane needs maintenance from time to time.

Our pusher plane works reliably and precisely. To keep it that way, it needs regular maintenance. At the moment, therefore, repair work is pending that concerns the wear of the crank joints.
Due to the permanent rotation - despite lubrication - the bearing joints wear out and have to be renewed. Two different materials are used for this, harder and softer (bronze). Over time, the bronze part wears out and the linkage gets play.
These bronze parts must then be gradually renewed.
